Innodriver-S3 Measure B 2019 call: 900,000 euros awarded to 30 Lombard SMEs

The results of the Innodriver-S3 Measure B 2019 call for proposals have been published. The call will fund Lombardy-based SMEs that hold the "Seal of Excellence", a certification awarded by the European Union to innovative projects submitted under the SME Instrument Phase I call of Horizon 2020 which, despite being eligible for funding, were not supported due to a lack of available resources.

The funding granted through this POR FESR call aims to support costs related to the submission of a project proposal for the EIC Accelerator (formerly SME Instrument Phase II) and the associated business plan.

The 30 companies admitted to the grant will receive – upon achievement of the result – a fixed non-repayable grant of €30,000 against a minimum investment incurred of €71,429. Project proposals for the EIC Accelerator must be submitted no later than the final cut-off date for this call, which is 7 October 2020, failing which the grant will be forfeited.

Companies were selected based on the scores obtained in the three evaluation categories set out in the call: impact, excellence, and quality and efficiency of implementation. For each category, a score of 0 to 5 was awarded, with a minimum threshold of 4 for each and an overall minimum threshold of 13.

The list of beneficiaries can be downloaded at the bottom of this news item.
