Regione Lombardia has decided to invest in 17 projects through the POR FESR 2014-2020 call for proposals entitled “Fashiontech - Research and Development projects for sustainable fashion”.

The call for proposals – approved by the Region in April 2019 – aims to support research and development projects through non-repayable grants, focused on innovation within the textile and fashion sector, in accordance with the principles of environmental, economic and social sustainability.

The non-repayable grants range from 400,000 to 1 million euros and have been awarded to 17 projects involving a total of 61 companies across Lombardy. Please note that the call required interested parties to participate in the form of a partnership, consisting of a minimum of three companies, at least two of which must be SMEs, up to a maximum of six entities.
