ELIIT call: application deadline extended

Please be advised that the deadline for applications to the ELIIT call for proposals, supporting innovative projects in the textile and clothing industries, has been extended. Instead of 17 March as previously announced, applications may now be submitted until 31 March at 17:00 CET.

The European Light Industries Innovation and Technology (ELIIT) call aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) sectors in improving their competitiveness by helping them integrate new technologies into innovative or high value-added products, processes, or services.

ELIIT will facilitate the transfer of innovation and technology, as well as the market uptake of innovative solutions. This will be achieved through the development of concrete pilot actions designed to improve productivity, value chain integration, and resource efficiency.

A total of 25 partnerships will be selected between TCLF SMEs and providers or owners of innovative technologies that are ready or near-ready for industrial scale-up. These partnerships will last for an indicative period of 12 to 18 months, during which they will receive financial support of €70,000 for the development of high value-added and profitable products or prototypes, in addition to services such as coaching, consultancy, networking activities, and participation, organisation, and assistance.
