The Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs have confirmed opportunities for this year for Scientific, Technological and Industrial Cooperation between Italy and Israel through the following calls for proposals:

1) Industrial Call for Proposals for Cooperation in the field of Industrial, Scientific and Technological Research and Development between Italy and Israel. Research projects may be submitted by 30 November 2017 (17:00 Italian time) in one of the following sectors:

– medicine, biotechnology, public health and hospital organisation

– agriculture and food science

– applications of information technology in education and scientific research

– environment, water treatment

– new energy sources, alternatives to oil and exploitation of natural resources

– production process innovations

– information technology, data communications, software, cyber security

– space and earth observation

– any other sector of mutual interest.

2) Scientific Call for Proposals for Industrial, Scientific and Technological Cooperation (“Scientific Track 2018”) between Italy and Israel. Projects may be submitted by 2 November 2017(17:00 Italian time) in one of the following sectors

-Applied aspects of Marine Biology and Mariculture

-Applications of complex systems physics.
