Cluster Go International 2020 Call for Proposals

The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has launched the Cluster Go International 2020 call for proposals under the COSME programme. The objective of the call is to foster the development and implementation of a joint internationalisation strategy among clusters, pursuing shared objectives in relation to specific third-country markets and the expansion of SMEs into non-European countries.

The call is divided into two “strands”:

  • Strand A: will support the creation of European Strategic Cluster Partnerships – Going International (ESCP-4i) across a wide range of European industrial sectors and value chains. A maximum of 12 projects will be funded under this strand, with each project eligible for a grant of up to €450,000. Projects under this strand must have a duration of between 30 and 36 months.
  • Strand B: will support the initial implementation, testing, and further development of European Strategic Cluster Partnerships – Going International (ESCP-4is) in the defence and security sector (dual-use technologies). A maximum of 2 projects will be funded under this strand, with each eligible for a grant of up to €450,000. Projects under this strand must have a duration of between 18 and 24 months.

The total budget for the call is €7,500,000. The co-financing rate for projects may not exceed 90% of eligible costs.

The deadline for the submission of applications is 2 December at 17:00 (Brussels time).
