Over a thousand stakeholders from the Alpine region will gather to carefully assess the progress made so far and define the future strategy. The event, which will be held on 23-24 November 2017 at BMW Welt in Munich, has been jointly organised by Bavaria (the current EUSALP presidency) and the European Commission (Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy).
The forum will present the initial results from the nine thematic action groups and discuss alternatives for addressing the region's challenges, such as climate change, international economic competition, Alpine transit traffic, and the loss of biodiversity.
As the event aims to engage civil society, a debate with citizens and a youth parliament will take place immediately following the 1st EUSALP Annual Forum.
The deadline for registration is 21 November 2017.
