Applications are now open for the 2023 edition of the LEADERS – Women Innovators in Manufacturing at EIT RIS call, part of the EITM EIT RIS programme, a competition celebrating women innovators active in the manufacturing sector.

Applications are invited from women innovators (e.g. professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, etc.) who are citizens of EIT RIS eligible countries (which includes Italy, among others) and who have held a leadership role in developing solutions with a significant impact on the innovation ecosystem by transforming ideas into new and advanced products and/or services for the benefit of people and the planet. Projects/initiatives must also fall within the thematic areas covered by the EIT Manufacturing Flagships.

The competition is structured as follows: following an initial application phase, up to 60 eligible candidates will receive online pitch training. After the second round and subsequent evaluations, the six best candidates will be invited to an awards ceremony where the three winners will be publicly announced, receiving prizes of 10,000 euros, 7,500 euros, and 5,000 euros respectively.

The deadline for submitting applications is 18 July 2023.
