Applications are now open for the LIFE call for proposals. The total budget for 2020 is €450 million, which will be awarded to projects under the two sub-programmes, environment and climate action, thereby contributing to the implementation of the European Green Deal.

The European Commission has also announced that, in light of the COVID-19 emergency, it has introduced a series of measures to simplify the application process, as well as extending deadlines.
