The RISE project - Resilient Innovation EcoSystems for EU Value Chains has launched a call for applications to submit innovative projects or expertise in the following areas:
1) Mineral raw materials (e.g. lithium and other mineral recovery);
2) Forest biomass (e.g. energy produced from biomass such as wood, vegetable oils or agro-fuels);
3) Bioenergy and sustainable construction (e.g. renewable resources, circularity, carbon emission reduction).

The RISE project promotes interregional cooperation and supports the creation and development of interregional innovation projects that will have an impact in at least one of the three less-developed regions in Bulgaria (Severozapaden), Slovenia (Vzhodna Slovenija) and Portugal (Alentejo). Companies and research organisations from various countries, including Italy, France, Spain and Sweden, are eligible to participate.
