ICE-Alibaba agreement to support the entry of Italian SMEs onto the largest international B2B platform

Following the agreement signed between the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the Chinese giant Alibaba, Italian SMEs will benefit from an increased presence on the world’s largest e-commerce platform. The Made in Italy Pavilion has been launched, a dedicated section for Made in Italy companies and products, which will exclusively host the 300 selected participating companies.

Companies selected for the project will receive 24 months of complimentary 24 months access to the benefits of a Global Gold Supplier membership on the Alibaba.com platform, along with support in using the platform to maximise internationalisation opportunities and enable sales in over 190 countries.

The Italian Trade Agency will also fund a digital marketing campaign lasting 12 months, with the aim of promoting the products of the participating companies.

Please note that there are no access costs for the first 24 months for companies that meet the minimum requirements.
