The AAL (Active & Assisted Living) programme, a funding initiative for research, development and innovation in ICT solutions to support active ageing, co-funded by the European Commission, has launched the call for entries for the AAL Smart Ageing Prize, which closes on 13 May 2016.
The €50,000 prize will be awarded to innovative ideas for IoT devices and technologies that facilitate active ageing in all aspects of daily life. Project proposals should focus on the development of prototypes and business plans, ensuring the active involvement of older people in the development and testing phases of the technological solution.
