6 Lombard SMEs win the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase I call for proposals

The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for the SME Instrument Phase I programme for the 03/05/2018 deadline. Out of 2,149 proposals received, 239 were selected for funding, involving a total of 242 beneficiary SMEs and representing a success rate of 8.9%.

For this deadline, Italy ranks second with 21 companies and as many projects funded, placing it just behind Spain, which had 48 beneficiary SMEs.

  1. IoTty Srl (BG) – project “From machines to smart systems: Cloud-based IoT for lift modernisation and predictive maintenance”
  1. Petroceramics (BG) – project “Radically innovative technology for efficient manufacturing of preforms for ceramic matrix composite (CMC) brake disks”
  1. Softline (MI) – project “This proposal is about PREFEapp, an innovative mobile app that aims at cutting food waste at its roots thanks to the cooperation of final consumers, municipal undertakings and LSRT players”
  1. Heartwatch (MI) – project “HeartWatch - contactless patient vital signs monitoring”
  1. Tecnalogic Srl (MB) – project “Balancing demand-response platform for an efficient, reasonably-priced and sustainable electricity market”
  1. Extrema Srl (MN) – project “Reduced platform lift enhancing accessibility for disabled citizens”
