The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for the SME Instrument Phase II programme for the 10/10/2018 deadline. Out of 1,850 proposals received, 68 were selected for funding, representing a success rate of 3.7%.

For this deadline, Italy recorded 2 beneficiary companies and an equal number of funded projects, including one Lombardy-based company, RAIN SpA of Cerro Maggiore (Milan), with the project “Accurate irrigation controller with multi-sensoring and interactive cloud-based platform to evaluate real plant needs and save up to 80% of water” .

With reference to the November 2018 deadline for Phase I of the same programme, there are 4 beneficiary companies from Lombardy
