5 Lombardy-based companies win the SME Instrument Phase I call for proposals

The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for Phase I of the SME Instrument for the 24/02/2016 deadline. Out of 1,995 proposals received, 174 were selected for funding, representing a success rate of 8.7% and a total of 189 beneficiary SMEs.

Italy ranks third with 25 funded companies, following Great Britain (36) and Spain (34).

5 Lombardy-based companies and an equal number of projects, accounting for approximately 20% of the Italian winners in this round, have been selected. The winning companies will be entitled to 3 days of business coaching.
