4 Italian companies selected for the EIC Fast Track to Innovation programme

The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for the EIC Fast Track to Innovation programme for the 21 February 2019 deadline.

There are 4 Italian companies among the beneficiaries: CROMSOURCE, UCSC, GRUPPO FABBRI VIGNOLA S.P.A and RFM.

The Commission will support 13 projects with a total of €33.12 million to bring innovations to market more rapidly. The 13 projects, involving 54 partners across 17 countries, will each receive approximately €2 million.

The range of projects includes recycling technology for rubber from old tyres, a magnetic ink barcode reader for anti-counterfeiting purposes, next-generation photovoltaic windows, and a neuro-prosthesis that allows amputees to perceive sensory feedback from the prosthesis.

The European Commission received 227 proposals by the 21 February 2019 deadline, representing a success rate of 5.7%.
