
The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for the SME Instrument Phase II programme under Horizon 2020 for the 15/06/2016 deadline. Out of 1,167 proposals received, 56 were selected for funding, involving a total of 65 beneficiary SMEs.
For this deadline, Italy ranks second with 7 funded companies and 5 projects, totalling €8.6 million, following Spain with 19 beneficiary SMEs.
There are three beneficiary companies from the Lombardy region
- Antares Vision srl from Travagliato (BS), with the LYO CHECK project;
- Fractalgarden srl, from Sesto San Giovanni (MI), and Ascoel srl, from Pandino (CR). The two companies submitted the Socialsmartgrid project as a consortium.

The upcoming deadlines for submitting project proposals under this call are
- 7 September 2016, for projects to be submitted under Phase I;
- 13 October 2016, for projects to be submitted under Phase II.
