€20 million allocated to startups in the swimming pool and wellness sector

A Spanish multinational in the swimming pool and wellness sector has launched a venture capital fund, through which the company will invest globally in startups with B2B, B2C and Deep Tech business models, across commercial, residential, wellness and mass-market segments (all related to the swimming pool and wellness industry).

With an investment of 20 million euros, they are seeking tech startups with innovative solutions that can drive improvements in the sector.

Areas of interest include:

  • connected pools,
  • resource optimisation,
  • digital platforms,
  • innovative materials,
  • safety,
  • personalisation,
  • robotics,
  • innovative consumer products.

Startups must have a global vision, with a focus on the United States and the EU, and must be in the early stages (Seed and Series A). The average funding amount ranges from 500,000 to 1 million euros.
