13 Lombardy-based companies awarded SME Instrument Phase I funding

The European Commission has published the list of beneficiaries for Phase 1 of the SME Instrument for the 07/09/2016 deadline. Out of 1,938 proposals received from 40 countries, 182 projects were selected for funding, involving a total of 189 beneficiary companies and a combined financial contribution of €9.1 million.

Italy ranks first in terms of the number of beneficiaries (34 funded companies), followed by Spain (30) and Great Britain (18).

For this deadline, 13 Lombardy-based companies and an equal number of projects were selected. Lombardy once again confirms its position as the leading region in Italy in terms of the number of beneficiaries.
