The value of bilateral trade between Lombardy and Ukraine exceeded 800 million euros in the first 9 months of 2021, with Lombard exports growing by 16.5% (362.7 million total) compared to the same period in 2019, and imports increasing by 93.8% (442 million total).

The most significant increases in imports were recorded in the provinces of Lecco, Cremona, and Monza, while exports performed best in Sondrio, Cremona, and Lodi.
