3Bee, a company incubated at the ComoNExT Innovation Hub, has been awarded €50,000 in funding for its 3Bee Hive-Tech project, an innovative concept for protecting beehives. The project stems from the initiative of three young entrepreneurs and researchers who have launched the first high-tech, low-cost product for the protection of Italian bees. The three researchers come from diverse fields, ranging from quantum electronics to nanobiotechnology; by combining their skills, expertise, hobbies, and passions, they created the 3Bee Hive-Tech project, the technological beehive of the future, an innovative monitoring system for beekeeping.

This achievement was made possible in part thanks to the support of Confindustria Lombardia as part of the SIMPLER-Enterprise Europe Network project, and the ComoNExT Innovation Hub, during the design and review phase of the project proposal.
