MOI Composites, a spin-off of the Politecnico di Milano, has developed a new 3D printing technology for composite materials for the aeronautics, oil & gas, and biomedical sectors.
This technology achieves a strength-to-weight ratio 20 times higher than the best steel.
With a project dedicated to the biomedical sector, MOI Composites has been awarded Phase 1 of the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument.
In addition to the quality of the project proposed by MOI, the grant was also secured thanks to the Enterprise Europe Network and the support of the Digital Innovation Hub Lombardia.
