D/Vision Lab Srl is a technology startup founded in 2019 in Dalmine (BG), specialising in advanced data visualisation. It has quickly established itself in the scientific, medical, engineering and service sectors thanks to its customisable solutions, which enable intuitive and interactive data exploration by transforming data into three-dimensional images and virtual models through the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
As part of its international expansion, D/Vision Lab has taken significant steps to protect its brand and technology by registering a new European trademark. To achieve this, the startup relied on the services of the Enterprise Europe Network of Confindustria Lombardia, whose team—in collaboration with Punto Europa of Confindustria Bergamo—provided support not only during the trademark registration phase but also in accessing funding through the SME Fund (EUIPO) voucher programme.
Following a thorough analysis, which included verifying the originality of the trademark and simulating the costs of the registration process, D/Vision Lab obtained the necessary voucher to cover a portion of the expenses.
The funding was granted just a few weeks after the application, allowing the startup not only to successfully register its trademark but also to proceed more securely and effectively in its search for strategic partners abroad. This achievement represents a significant step forward for D/Vision Lab in its mission to expand into international markets.
This success story, and many others, are the result of the collaboration between SMEs and the European EEN network, which provides access to countless resources to facilitate the growth and expansion of Lombardy-based businesses.
