Moi Composites' deep-tech manufacturing features in the latest EEN success stories.

Moi Composites, a spin-off of the Politecnico di Milano, develops Continuous Fiber Manufacturing (CFM) 3D printing technology.

Moi Composites is a deep-tech company established as a spin-off of the Politecnico di Milano, with the objective of increasing the efficiency of high-performance composite component production.

The company has developed a proprietary technology, known as Continuous Fiber Manufacturing (CFM), which enables the 3D printing of composite objects using continuous fibres and thermosetting matrices. Through continuous innovation in the development of materials, software, and hardware, Moi Composites has created continuous fibre 3D printing solutions—such as carbon fibre and glass fibre—intended for strategic sectors including aerospace, automotive, marine, and biomedical.

Throughout this growth journey, Moi Composites identified the EIC Accelerator as the ideal instrument to support the development of its business project, accelerating the progress of its solutions and products.

The support provided by Confindustria Lombardia, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network activities, was fundamental. They assisted the company during the orientation and structuring phases of the project proposal, from the initial submission through to the interview.

The funding secured represents a tangible acceleration for Moi Composites towards its technological and commercial objectives. The company has invested significantly in developing an integrated product ecosystem, with the aim of making Moi Composites' technological solutions increasingly attractive to a growing number of sectors and applications. The instrument has also enabled the company to make a significant qualitative leap from an organisational perspective, allowing for team expansion, the consolidation of expertise, and the strengthening of the systems underpinning its operations.
