“Ti presento una Startup” is an initiative launched by the Confindustria Bergamo Young Entrepreneurs Group, designed to facilitate collaboration between Confindustria Bergamo member companies and innovative startups, thereby promoting an effective meeting point for the supply and demand of innovation.

The 2021 call focuses on the Mechatronics category of Confindustria Bergamo, a historic sector of the association that represents leading companies at both national and international levels. Applications for the 2021 edition will be open until 31 March 2021.

In May 2021, during the matching day, selected startuppers will have the opportunity to present their business initiatives to Confindustria Bergamo companies that have expressed a genuine need to launch open innovation projects, with the aim of fostering commercial and/or corporate partnerships.

Applications are open to Italian and international companies with innovative startup or innovative SME status that offer services or products primarily focused on the following areas of innovation:

• Artificial Intelligence: predictive maintenance and automatic anomaly detection, quality control and improvement, assistance and support systems for operations, and automatic programming and scheduling of production indices.
• Digitalisation: remote maintenance and plant commissioning support, data collection and analysis solutions (big data), AR/VR for training, IIOT sensors including retrofitting for existing machinery, and cybersecurity.
• Additive & Quick prototyping: advanced 3D printing.
• Digital twin: advanced simulation and virtual commissioning systems.
• Robotics: cobots and AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles).
• Smart working: tools for improving remote operations and, in general, platforms for smart HR management.
