Description of content and objectives

Confindustria Lombardia, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network activities, is co-organising Sustainable Solutions Match 2026, a cross-sector virtual event dedicated to supporting European businesses in their transition towards a sustainable, digital, and circular economy.

The initiative consists of three main stages:

• The Opening Session on 16 March launches the event with a focus on cultural differences and doing business in international contexts, offering useful insights to improve cross-border collaboration, intercultural communication, and the prospects for success in global partnerships.
• From 16 to 24 March, the online pitching sessions will take place, dedicated to presenting innovative and immediately applicable solutions from across Europe. Each session focuses on specific sustainability themes, with the aim of providing concrete ideas and new perspectives for addressing the challenges of the sustainable transition.
• From 16 to 27 March, the event continues with one-to-one virtual B2B meetings, allowing participants to connect directly with companies, experts, and innovators, explore collaboration opportunities, and identify tailored solutions to support their sustainability goals.

The overall objective of the event is to foster concrete opportunities for sustainable innovation, providing visibility to technological SMEs and providers of sustainable and circular solutions and facilitating their connection with companies interested in strengthening their environmental, economic, and social performance.

Registration details

Participation is free of charge upon registration by 27 March via the B2Match platform.

Once registered, participants must:

• complete their profile in English;

• select at least one matchmaking session;

• add at least one marketplace item to describe the skills, technologies, or solutions offered or sought.

It will then be possible to request meetings by selecting who you are interested in meeting based on the virtual catalogues of Solution Providers, Solution Seekers, and the Marketplace.
