SummIT aims to examine whether innovation within Italian industry can follow its own unique path.
Recently, there has been exponential growth in interest regarding what is termed "INDUSTRY 4.0". However, when one asks what INDUSTRY 4.0 actually entails, the answers are varied, inconsistent, and differ depending on whether the stakeholder is a large corporation, an SME, or a software development firm: this multiplicity is a sign of an objective difficulty in defining the model.
