Description of content and objectives

Confindustria Lombardia, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network activities, in collaboration with Regione Lombardia, Sistema Moda Italia and Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster, is organising the webinar "Supporting Lombardy SMEs in developing circular economy initiatives within the plastics and textile supply chains" to be held on 12 December at 15:00

The initiative is dedicated to presenting the measure promoted by Regione Lombardia, which provides 5 million euros to assist SMEs in the region in adopting circular economy practices, with the ultimate goal of achieving a significant reduction and more efficient management of waste in the plastics and textile supply chains.

The support is granted in the form of a non-repayable grant, covering up to 50% of eligible expenses, with the possibility of an increase to 60% for particularly meritorious projects.

The programme is as follows:

  • Opening remarks - Dario Voltattorni, General Manager of Confindustria Lombardia
  • Criteria for the call for proposals to support Lombardy SMEs in the circular economy - Giorgio Gallina, Head of the “Waste and Environmental Protection” Department - DG Environment and Climate of Regione Lombardia
  • Trick and the digitalisation of the textile industry - Mauro Sampellegrini, Head of Research and Innovation at Sistema Moda Italia
  • Circularity in the plastics sector: the Syschemiq project - Riccardo Bellato, President of the Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster
  • Q&A

Moderated and concluded by Alina Candu, Head of Internationalisation and Supply Chain Competitiveness at Confindustria Lombardia.
