The "Seveso" decree contains important new provisions for all facilities where substances classified as hazardous are present.
Assic - Sala Orlando
Corso Venezia, 47 - Milan
The conference, organised by Assolombarda, Federchimica and AssICC (Italian Association of Chemical Commerce), aims to examine the contents of the new "Seveso" decree in detail.
The measure affects a large number of companies that hold hazardous substances under the regulations on the classification, labelling and packaging of hazardous substances and mixtures (CLP), which came into force on 1 June 2015.
In addition to experts from the employers' associations, the event will feature representatives from the Ministry of the Environment, ISPRA (Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research), the Lombardy Regional Fire Brigade Directorate and the Lombardy Region. The presence of the competent local regulatory bodies will help companies better understand the new requirements and authorisation procedures.
The conference is aimed at employers, managers and staff of the prevention and protection service (RSPP and ASPP), REACH representatives, technicians and those in the company responsible for safety and fire prevention.
