To effectively address the widespread need for accurate and timely economic and financial information, the Scenari &
Tendenze economic observatory was established in 2008 through an initiative by the AIB Small Industry and Young Entrepreneurs Committees. It focuses on analysing macroeconomic variables and market dynamics to forecast potential short-term developments.
Organised as a four-monthly meeting, the observatory, promoted by the Brescia Industrial Association and the Brescia Chamber of Commerce, reaches its 29th edition, offering insights and reflections that are practically useful for business decision-making in a historical period marked by uncertainty and high market volatility.
The economic observatory utilises exclusive and original studies and analyses, made available to all participants through an ongoing collaboration with the University of Brescia’s Laboratory for the Analysis of System Dynamics and Financial Markets, and Siderweb, the national steel industry portal.
As in previous editions, interested parties are invited to submit a question via the following LINK, which will be answered by the experts involved in the observatory.
Questions should concern general or specific aspects—provided they are sufficiently generalisable—of the topics typically covered by the observatory: from the general and regional economic situation to interest rates, exchange rates, energy costs, and raw material prices.
Requests for clarification, which will be handled anonymously, must be received by 21 June 2019.
