The third event of “Business and Diplomacy in the Lombardy Territories: The Consular Corps Roadshow”, will stop in Lecco to explore the themes of manufacturing, research and innovation in the Como, Lecco and Sondrio areas together with the consuls.

The meeting - organised in collaboration with Confindustria Como and Confindustria Lecco e Sondrio and titled "Manufacturing, Research and Innovation in Como, Lecco and Sondrio" - will be held on Wednesday 14 October , from 10.00 to 13.00, at the Politecnico di Milano Lecco Territorial Campus, Via Gaetano Previati 1/c (LC), and will be open to all Lombardy-based consuls.

The Como, Lecco and Sondrio area is distinguished by its manufacturing, research and innovation ecosystems, which foster technological development and the competitiveness of the local system. These areas represent strategic assets that strongly define the local production fabric and have significant international reach.

The meeting aims to offer an integrated overview of the region, focusing the debate on the projects and key figures driving its growth and evolution, while promoting awareness of a dynamic system that is attractive for collaborations, investments and international relations.

During the morning, there will be a tour of the campus, laboratories and spaces dedicated to education, research and innovation at the Politecnico di Milano Lecco Territorial Campus.

The proceedings will conclude with a networking lunch, providing an opportunity for informal discussion among participants.
