Description of content and objectives
Confindustria Lombardia (as part of the Enterprise Europe Network), the Lombardy Life Sciences Cluster, Assolombarda, and the China IP SME Helpdesk are supporting the EU SME Centre and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce in organising the webinar “Overview of China’s Biopharma Sector: Market Access & IP Rights”, which will be held on Friday 10 September from 10:00 to 12:00.
The webinar will provide an overview of two key aspects of the Chinese biopharma ecosystem:
- market and regulations, including market trends; regulation and market access; the growing role of Chinese players; challenges and opportunities for European companies.
- protection of intellectual property (IP) rights, including an overview of Chinese law on IP protection for pharmaceutical products; patent and design registration for diagnostic and therapeutic equipment; preventive measures to minimise the risk of technical trade secret disclosure; and protection of company and product trademarks.
