Description

A full day dedicated to the synergy between research, institutions, and the production sector. A unique opportunity for companies to experience future technologies first-hand and discover how leading local industrial firms transform innovation into a competitive advantage.

On Tuesday, 19 May, the Bergamo area—long a driving force of European manufacturing—will host the next Open Mind Tour. Designed to promote technology transfer and create valuable connections, the tour will offer a comprehensive immersion into the local innovation ecosystem, from research centres to the production lines of major multinational corporations.

The first part of the day focuses on strengthening collaboration between businesses, research, and institutions, presenting tools and expertise to support the digital and sustainable transition. This will be followed by practical sessions with guided tours at Kilometro Rosso, where companies can observe the concrete application of innovative technologies.

In the afternoon, the focus will shift to the application of innovation in industrial processes. Through guided visits, companies will be able to observe technologies, organisational models, and industrial best practices. The day will provide participants not only with new strategic contacts but, above all, with a clear and up-to-date vision of industrial innovation trajectories and the tools to implement them within their own organisations.
