Sustainability reports: why produce them and what are the benefits for businesses?
What are the operational tools for measuring, communicating, and sharing the value produced?
How can a sustainability report be used as a tool to enhance a company's identity, reputation, and knowledge?
Unindustria Como will address these and other questions during the Open Lab organised as part of the SMART project, scheduled for Wednesday 17 April 2019.
Discussions with experts and testimonials from companies that have already begun the journey of responsible reporting will help demonstrate why this is a choice for growth and development, linked to the ability to create long-term competitive value for businesses of all sizes.
This event is the first of the "OPEN LAB" meetings planned under the SMART project, designed to provide operational tools and share experiences and expertise in order to promote the commitment and benefits of social responsibility for both businesses and the community.

The “SMART – Sustainable STRATEGIES and RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS MODELS in the cross-border TERRITORY” project is funded by the Interreg V Italy-Switzerland programme. Unindustria Como is an active partner in the project alongside the Como Chamber of Commerce (lead partner), IEFE Bocconi, SUPSI, and SQS.
The project's common challenge is to promote the cross-border territory as an area that makes economic, social, and environmental corporate sustainability a distinctive element and a competitive advantage.
The project offers a series of fully funded activities and tools to support and assist companies in implementing sustainability in all its forms (economic, environmental, and social):
