International trade is subject to controls and restrictions to ensure political, military and economic security. This framework includes regulations on the export control of dual-use goods and technologies, as well as restrictive measures towards certain countries such as Iran and, more recently, Russia.
Confindustria Bergamo is organising this conference to illustrate the complexity of this subject to industry professionals.
This is the first of four meetings in the "Internationalising to compete better 5.0" series.
The meeting will also cover the main economic and financial characteristics of Mediterranean basin countries (Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco), which are attractive export markets for our companies but also present certain challenges.
This will be followed by a case study from GFM Spa, a company that faced and subsequently resolved export restrictions regarding Iran.
