The Next Gen – Family Businesses programme was created to support the next generation of member family businesses through a journey of growth, discussion, and empowerment.
Building on the experience of Figli del Capo, designed as a training and networking space for those beginning their entrepreneurial roles, Next Gen – Family Businesses represents an evolution: it creates a permanent environment where young people not only receive inspiration and skills but also actively participate in the transformation of the family business system.

The "Opening Up to Grow" meeting will take place on 29 April at 17:00, in person, at Assolombarda (9 Via Pantano, Milan).

How can a family business embrace innovation without losing its identity and control?

The strength of family businesses lies in their long-term vision and consistency of values. However, the competitive landscape demands openness, experimentation, and collaboration with external ecosystems.
This meeting will explore practical tools to enable innovation in family businesses, such as open innovation, the venture client model, partnerships with startups, the creation of spin-offs, and collaboration with universities and research centres. Opening up does not mean weakening; it means strengthening competitive advantage. The challenge is to integrate innovation into decision-making processes while preserving governance and family identity.
