The Next Gen – Family Business programme is designed to support the next generation of member family businesses through a journey of growth, discussion, and empowerment.

Building on the experience of Figli del Capo, which was conceived as a training and networking space for those beginning their entrepreneurial roles, Next Gen – Family Business represents an evolution: it creates a permanent environment where young people not only gain insights and skills but also actively participate in transforming the family business system.

When to accelerate and when to wait?

In a family business, the issue is not just "how much to change", but above all when to do so. For the next generation, timing is a strategic lever: entering too early can limit credibility, while entering too late can reduce impact.

We will address the critical moments of the generational transition: joining the company, assuming responsibilities, launching new projects, and proposing strategic innovations. Balancing market speed with the natural gradualism of family decision-making processes, success depends on the ability to choose the right moment, build consensus, and turn an intuition into a shared decision.

Expected outcome: an operational guide for the next generation on "when and how" to initiate change, including decision-making criteria, internal legitimisation levers, and strategies for building alliances both inside and outside the family.
