Confindustria Lombardia, together with the Confindustria branches of Veneto, Emilia-Romagna and Piedmont, is supporting a business mission to Kuala Lumpur organised by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in collaboration with the Italian Embassy and Confindustria. The initiative aims to strengthen economic and trade relations between Italy and Malaysia, the third-largest ASEAN economy with over 34 million inhabitants and an estimated 2025 GDP exceeding €420 billion.

The programme includes a plenary session on 29 June covering trade, investment and partnership opportunities, featuring sector-specific panels and B2B meetings between Italian and Malaysian companies (export and import). On 30 June, there will be visits to industrial sites and key economic entities. Target sectors: Infrastructure and Transport, Energy (Oil & Gas, renewables), Advanced Machinery and Industry (packaging, automation, semiconductors, industrial software).
