Description of content and objectives

MCE 4x4, the leading Italian open innovation initiative dedicated to innovative and sustainable mobility, is strengthened this year by a new regional partnership. Alongside the founding promoters Assolombarda and Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce, the initiative now involves Unione Industriali Torino, Confindustria Genova and their respective Chambers of Commerce.

The objective is to adopt an ecosystem-based approach to the country's North-West, a region home to 35% of Italy's mobility startups and a central hub for the nation's manufacturing businesses.

The plenary conference will be held on 9 April starting at 9.30 am at the Assolombarda headquarters. This will be followed by simultaneous round-table discussions in Milan, Genoa and Turin, focusing on key mobility trends.

Following the event, the MCE 4x4 call for startups will be launched, which, in a new development for this year, will be open to companies from other European regions for the first time.
