News, features and operations of the LIFE call for proposals, a direct European funding instrument that has been supporting innovative solutions with an impact on the Environment since 1992, by financing the final effort that a company, especially a small one, often cannot manage alone—the "last mile" that takes a solution from prototype to market sale.
The call, with a 2018-2020 budget of €1.5 billion, supports pilot or demonstration projects with non-repayable grants of up to 60% of costs.
The workshop, organised in collaboration with the Green Economy Network and the LE2C - Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster, will examine the new features introduced by the 2018-2020 programme, including the two-step project submission process which simplifies participation and optimises timelines, the emphasis on measurable environmental impacts, and the involvement of the industrial sector with a close-to-market approach.
The workshop aims to provide an operational guide, helping to answer the questions: What? Why? For me? How? This will also be achieved through the presentation of success stories and contributions from evaluators and programme managers to help participants navigate and understand how these opportunities can be seized.
