Description

Climatic factors such as global warming, extreme weather events and air pollution, alongside economic factors like geopolitical instability and global conflicts causing significant cost volatility, are driving businesses, households and institutions to reduce energy demand and turn to renewable sources, ideally autonomous and local.

Against this backdrop, Confindustria Bergamo has organised a series of three webinars to support companies in the decarbonisation of industrial premises, offering operational tools, practical examples and regulatory updates.

Following the first webinar, which examined the European EPBD IV directive and provided operational guidance on potential redevelopment measures, and the second session, which presented an energy efficiency project for an industrial building, the series concludes with the final webinar on Thursday 29 January 2026 at 15:00.

This session will present two initiatives carried out with the support of the University of Bergamo (featuring Elisa Ghirardi): an estimate of the potential for installing photovoltaic panels on industrial roofs in the province of Bergamo and a guide to investing in renewable energy plants.
