Description of content and objectives

SetteOttavi Roadshow: final event of the 2023 edition dedicated to the 8 product sectors.

On Thursday 25 January 2024 at 17:00, the Confindustria Brescia Conference Hall will host entrepreneurs from the METALLURGY, STEEL AND MINING SECTOR for an event entitled: “Europe and Sustainable Industry”.

The proceedings will focus on an analysis of the new European regulations introduced by both the Fit for 55 package and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and their influence on the environment and the economy; these are significant and impactful regulatory changes to which European industry must adapt.

The meeting, which will be moderated by journalist Roberto Ragazzi (Giornale di Brescia), will feature contributions from the leadership of Confindustria Brescia and the following speakers:

• Giovanni MARINONI MARTIN | Chair of the Metallurgy, Steel and Mining Sector, Confindustria Brescia;
• Prof. Antonio GOZZI | President of Federacciai;
• Guido GUIDESI | Regional Minister for Economic Development, Lombardy Region;

• Paolo STREPARAVA | CEO of the Streparava Group and Vice President for Credit, Finance and Tax, Confindustria Brescia;
• Roberto VAVASSORI | President of Anfia.
