Description of content and objectives

Organised by the Union in collaboration with Confindustria Lombardia - Enterprise Europe Network and Confindustria, this webinar aims to explore the opportunities offered to businesses by the LIFE Programme, which primarily co-finances environmental and climate projects that contribute to achieving European sustainability goals.

Through the LIFE programme, the Italian production system has the opportunity to obtain co-financing for projects aimed at the practical implementation of European environmental objectives. Furthermore, the 2017 call is particularly aimed at close to market projects, which are therefore of potential interest to businesses.

The webinar will feature Dr Angelo Salsi, Head of Unit at the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME), who will join us from the Confindustria Delegation in Brussels to outline the key aspects of the 2017 LIFE call and the procedures for accessing funding.

The seminar will also present the Life M3P (Material Match Making Platform) project, developed by the Union and co-financed by the European Union through the LIFE Programme.

Following this, personalised meetings to discuss the programme's content will be held, organised by the Union and Confindustria Lombardia as part of the Enterprise Europe Network activities.
