Description of content and objectives

The European Green Deal's objective of net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 focuses on developing a circular economy and harnessing the potential of biological resources to create carbon-free products.

This outcome can only be achieved through the synergistic involvement of regional and local authorities, primary producers, industrial supply chain operators, scientific research, clusters, and citizens.

Given the results achieved, the final BIOMASS hub project event aims to outline further strategic directions in light of the current regulatory framework, as well as the resulting development prospects for the valorisation of the various organic matrices used.
