Description of content and objectives

During the meeting, the Assolombarda Research Centre will assess the employment situation based on the most up-to-date "official" data, bringing clarity to the maze of statistics—from both statistical and administrative sources—that now appear daily on the front pages of newspapers.

The general overview will be supplemented by analyses of the structural characteristics of labour demand and the most recent trends, based on information gathered from member companies as part of Assolombarda's labour market initiatives: the Labour Survey and the Assolombarda Employment Agency Observatory.

A specific focus will be dedicated to the topic of supply and the constant innovation within the recruitment sector, presented by Giuseppe Bruno, General Manager of InfoJobs.

Starting from the data, a more in-depth reflection on active labour market policies will follow, led by Maurizio Del Conte, Associate Professor of Labour Law at Bocconi University, followed by a round table discussion to explore considerations regarding the implementation of the reform and the future role of active policies.
