Description of content and objectives

Horizon 2020, the European Union's framework programme for research and innovation, is drawing to a close but still offers opportunities for our businesses. Monday 17 June from 09:30, Confindustria Bergamo is organising an information day on the 2019-2020 calls for proposals.

Energy and Factories of the Future (FoF) are the main topics to be discussed during the event.

The FoF (Factories of the Future) calls are part of the EU's main programme for delivering the next industrial revolution: Industry 4.0. Future topics will facilitate, among others, the following technological trends:

• Micro-part assembly and additive manufacturing
• High-precision production/repair of large-scale components
• Advanced quality control
• Artificial intelligence applied to production
• Quality control in smart manufacturing through rapid reconfiguration, blockchain and digital twins

The Energy calls, with deadlines between August and September 2019, promote the market uptake of innovations related to various energy sectors: renewable energy, smart energy systems and energy efficiency.

Companies with project ideas that wish to explore their alignment with funding opportunities may book a meeting during the afternoon of the same day.
