Open to all interested parties, subject to registration
The meeting will provide a practical overview of how artificial intelligence is transforming the machining sector, shifting from an emerging technology to an enabler for new business models and high-value services. Through contributions from academic and industry experts, we will examine key production challenges, market-ready solutions, and the tools available to identify and assess opportunities for applying AI to machine tools.
The session will also outline the subsequent focus activities planned for the programme and the forgIA project by Assolombarda, a digital ecosystem designed to leverage industrial data and support the development of high-impact vertical applications, while ensuring data sovereignty and the protection of intellectual property.
