Description of content and objectives

Part of the EU-Third Countries events at EXPO 2015, this event will provide an opportunity to discuss the efficient and sustainable management of natural resources in the agri-food sector.
On the morning of Monday 5 October, a conference will be held on the theme: "Business opportunities and challenges. Policy tools supporting greater cooperation of SMEs on the Transatlantic market."

The afternoon will be dedicated to B2B meetings.

The sectors involved are:

• wastewater management and utilisation
• reduction of water consumption
• monitoring and decision-support technologies in agriculture
• utilisation of agri-food waste
• renewable energy
