This event is aimed at those who:

• operate in the energy and water sectors;
• wish to expand their network with strategic partners in North America or Europe;
• are interested in learning about market opportunities in North America within the water and/or energy sectors.

Description of content and objectives

Following the conclusion of the European project EU Techbridge, which aims to support the internationalisation of European SMEs operating in the energy and water sectors in the United States and Canada, the final event, “North America-EU matchmaking Energy & Water”, will be held by the project partners.

The event will commence with the webinar “Business opportunities in the North American Water and Energy markets”, which will take place on Thursday 9 February 2023, from 16:00 to 17:30 CET.

Webinar participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into the needs of North American stakeholders regarding innovation in the water and energy sectors. Furthermore, during the webinar, European SMEs active in the North American energy and water market will share their advice on expanding business in North America.

Following the webinar, it will be possible to participate in a session of online one-to-one meetings co-organised with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), providing the opportunity to meet potential partners, develop synergies, and explore collaboration possibilities.

Once registered, you must complete your profile in English, select at least one matchmaking session, and add at least one marketplace item indicating the skills, technologies, or products you are offering or seeking. You will then be able to request meetings by selecting who you are interested in meeting based on the virtual Participants and Marketplace catalogues.
