Description of content and objectives

The EU Brokerage Event on KET in Horizon 2020 will take place on 7 June in Mainz, Germany, focusing on the creation of European consortia for the Horizon 2020 Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Production (NMBP) 2018–2020 calls.

The event, organised by the Horizon 2020 National Contact Points of Germany and France in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network, will be structured as follows:

09:00 – 12:45 Plenary session and parallel workshops with presentations of project ideas dedicated to the following calls (see attached agenda)

  • FACTORIES OF THE FUTURE
  • SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRIES
  • MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY INNOVATIONS, BIOTECHNOLOGY AND REGULATION
  • KETs for ENERGY and MATERIALS CHARACTERISATION
  • OPEN INNOVATION TEST BEDS and FAST TRACK to INNOVATION

13:30 – 18:00 Free international bilateral meetings between large enterprises, SMEs, universities and research centres to build and complete partnerships for European projects to be submitted under one or more of the following topics

  • Nanotechnologies and Advanced Materials
  • Biotechnologies
  • Advanced manufacturing and processing
  • Energy efficiency in Buildings (PPP EeB)
  • Factories of the Future (PPP FoF)
  • Sustainable process industries (PPP SPIRE)
  • Open Innovation Test Beds

How to participate and gain visibility in B2B meetings

1. Register by specifying your availability and completing your profile in English. This should include a description of your organisation and a cooperation profile detailing what you are looking for and/or offering.

2. Your profile will be included in the online catalogue.

3. From now until 6 June, you can select meetings of interest and receive meeting requests, which you may decline if they are not relevant.

4. Each participant will receive their individual meeting schedule prior to the event.

5. Please remember to select CONFINDUSTRIA LOMBARDIA as your Support Office during the registration process.
