The Circular 4.0 project stems from a collaboration between five European countries with the fundamental aim of strengthening the digitalisation processes of SMEs and accelerating the transition towards a circular economy in the Alpine Region. As part of the project, with the support of a team of researchers from the University of Bergamo, research was conducted on the level of circular economy integration and the degree of digitalisation of Bergamo-based companies, in which several member companies participated.
The project results will be presented on 7 June. The event will also serve as an opportunity to discuss and present European directives for the ecological and digital transition at a regional level. The programme, featuring a wealth of contributions from stakeholders involved in this dual transition, will include our colleague Alina Candu, Head of Internationalisation, among the speakers.
